PGA Solicitors LLP offers a transparent solicitors' fee structure for the UK services legal advice, applications court works and sponser management. The prices listed below are for guideance only. We will give you an accurate quote reflecting the complexity and urgency of your case in advance of any work undertaken.

Complaint Procedure

While we are dealing with your matter if you are not happy with our lawyer, service or anything else we have arrangement for you to tell us about it to give us a chance to check what exactly has gone wrong and to improve our standard.  We really are committed to look after the best interests of our clients and to provide high-quality legal services to all our clients. 

 

If you do decide to make a complaint we request you to contact us with the details of your grievance. We will deal with your complaint within eight weeks. If we can not  resolve the matter within that time you may complain to the Legal Ombudsman.

 

What will happen then?

 

We will send you a letter acknowledging receipt of your complaint within three days of receiving it, enclosing a copy of the procedure.  We then will investigate on your complaint. This will normally involve passing your complaint to our client care partner, Monir Jaman Shaikh, who will review the matter and will deal with the member of staff who acted for you.

 

Mr Shaikh will then invite you to a meeting to discuss and possiblhy to resolve your complaint. This process would be completed within 14 days of sending the acknowledgement letter to you.  Within three days of the meeting, Mr Shaikh will write to you to confirm what took place and any possible solutions you have agreed with him.


If you are not willing to have a meeting or it is not possible for you, either way Mr Shaikh, within 21 days of sending you the acknowledgement letter to you, will send you a detailed written reply to your complaint that would include his suggestions for resolving the matter.  

 

If you are still not satisfied, we will request you to contact us again and will arrange for appropriate alternative. such as a review by another local solicitor or mediatior to review our decision.  We will then write to you within 14 days of receiving your request for a review, confirming our position on your complaint explaining our reasoning for taking such decision.  If you are still not satisfied, we will advise ou to contact the Legal Ombudsman, PO Box 6806, Wolverhampton WV1 9WJ about your complaint. In that case, you may need to bring a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman within six months of receiving the final written response from us on your complaint or within six years of the act or omission on which your complaint was based. You may, also, bring a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman even after six years if you were not aware of the act or ommisision.  In that case you will have to make the complaint within three years of your knowledge or you should reasonably have been made aware of it.
